The Emotions are Strong
Again, another wonderful advertisement from Thailand. A simple idea of a selfless act that was bestowed upon the little boy molded the man he would become. Wonderful!
A Lasting Impression.
If you have a good story to tell and you manage to tell that story in the best way possible, language will not make any difference. Watch the video and try to tell me it doesn't make you tear up a little.

First Quarter Round Up.
It has been a tentative start to the new year for Thomas Black Consultants (tbc). Trying to figure out our place on the totem pole hasn't been easy. In our industry, one of the biggest factors that could make or break the spirit is the networks. If you have a healthy network going, it will definitely help with building your brand name and getting yourself out there. Without that, it's extremely difficult.
That being said, 2016 started of slowly and tentatively, as I mentioned earlier. However, withour any prior notice, things started to take off rather quickly. I won't go into all the details of our works (I'll do that in another post) and I cannot show you the finished art work as a few of the campaigns have yet to be concluded. But we're proud to have these huge businesses as just some of our clients:
As you can see, we might have started off slowly and without much fanfare, but it's been gathering steam. We're proud to be working with these companies and we're thankful they chose us to work with them. Stay tuned for some of the finished art work and sneak peaks into the upcoming campaigns. Till then, thank you for all your support.

- Vanilla Beans
- BenjaminMaths
- 2x local parenting publications (I'll share our works at a later time)
- Local TV production scripts and social commentaries

Why would you run this campaign?
As of recently, my life has been going great. Didn't have many complaints about life and I was being generally cheerful for a change. That all changed last Friday. For some weird reason, I've never come across this video. Apparently it was approved by the SG50 committee, in the hopes that Singaporeans will understand the imporance of our aging population and realise the need to start havng familes to help our nation.
I think having a family is great, but telling people, to their face that the need to have sex tonight is a little much in my books. Singapore has been running a campaign on encouraging couples to get married earlier and start having babies and start a family. Do I think that its working? No, simply telling someone to get married and start a family is not a simple task. Getting married and starting a family is a huge commitment and not something like Don't Litter or Recycle.
Anyways, I think this video, the music, the lyrics and the message is just in bad taste. Watching it, my feelings to getting married and starting a family is now even less appealing. I want nothing to do with this sex encouraging video. And to think, Singaporeans complained about the Madonna concert being too sexy.
